Care Guide

  • The Rock Stepper play mat is waterproof and wipeable. For everyday cleaning we recommend wiping the mat with a soft damp microfibre cloth. For a thorough clean use a mild/ph balance soap (washing up liquid), diluted with warm water. Be gentle – do not be tempted to apply too much pressure when wiping as this may damage and remove the colour of the mat. Always allow the mat to dry completely before using it again or if you are planning on storing it away.
  • Avoid using baby wipes/ anti-bacterial wipes and harsh cleaning agents as prolonged use causes discolouration and can damage the mat. Please check ingredients carefully before use, as some natural sprays may contain alcohol, natural acids or essential oils which can cause discolouration. We do not recommend using strong or abrasive cleaning products.
  • If you need to use further cleaning products outside of our recommendation, please note this will be at the user’s own risk and discretion.
  • Unfortunately, any damages or side effects from using any cleaning method outside of our recommendation is not covered by our Warranty policy.
  • Vacuum cleaners suction power varies according to different models, and some may leave marks if used on the mat. We recommend using a soft brush to sweep off any unwanted debris and crumbs.
  • Our playmats are waterproof thanks to a fully sealed upper layer, wipe away any spillages with a soft cloth or sponge.
  • Do not use any sharp or hot objects on the mat, as it may cause puncture damages.
  • Do not place heavy furniture or weights on the play mat as it will cause long lasting dents in the memory foam and may cause puncture damages over time.
  • Do not leave in direct sunlight to avoid heat damage / discolouration.
  • Do not use pens/ permanent ink/ marker on the mat as these marks are not removable.
  • Food colourings, nail varnish, citrus fruits, berries, tomato sauces, foods with turmeric can stain the mat
  • Our playmat is not suitable for steam cleaning
  • Not suitable for pets as its sharp claws may cause puncture damages, scratch the mat or they may chew the corners.
